spring almond blossoms

garden flowers bloom
unaware of their beauty

flawless azure sky
sable soil and emerald grass
pots of red blood blooms

morning’s frost from spring petals
some still mourn winter

from the cold earth, heals hidden
scars that winter left

when the cold barren branch bursts
pink life from the dead

dead branch bursts open
with life: white blossom declares
death could not triumph
